Whose Dinner Is This?

It's just a bit of fun this, luvvy, just a bit of larkin' about, but can you guess whose plate of pie, marowfat peas and tomato ketchup this is? It were right tasty fare for yer dinner in 1979. Mind you, that pie looks shop-bought to me (sniffs disapprovingly).

I reckon it's Stan Ogden's dinner. I seem to recall he always had pie for his dinner!

Eee, no, luvvy, I'm sorry but you're wrong.

It's simply got to be Eddie Yeates then!

No, chuck, sorry!

Is that Len Fairclough's dinner?

It's somebody unlikely isn't it? Annie Walker on a trash food diet?

No!

Fred Face from the pub?

Andy said...

Nay, love, you're not right (smiles smugly).

I could just see Elsie Tanner tucking into that.

Andy said...

Yes, so could I. But she didn't in this case!

What about Ray Langton?

Another likely candidate. But this tempting plateful was wolfed down in 1979. And Ray left the Street, bound for Holland, in 1978.

Kev Webster!

He wasn't in the show at that point!

It would have given Ena something to get her gnashers into!

Andy said...

True - but it didn't!

Was it Brian or Bert Tilsley's?

Hey Matthew! Congrats - you've won the non-prize! It was "our Brian" Tilsley who was about to fill his face with that load of nutrition. No wonder he was such a fit and healthy lad!
